Entitled 'After Hiroshima', the exhibition focuses not only on Hiroshima, but on the nuclear issue that has been expanding ever since the bombing. The present catalogue features Part II of the exhibition which concentrates on installation works by 5 artists. The works of Alfredo Jaar and Ingo Gunther are based on our present position and are strongly oriented towards the present and the future. Saburo Muraoka's works reflect his position and experience in the more universal world of life and death; while Magdalena Abakanowicz and Yoko Ono expand their themes to universal problems such as war and politics.

Images of works are accompanied by detailed descriptions. The catalogue provides artist biographies and bibliographies.

Other participating artists include Alfredo Jaar, Ingo Gunther and Magdalena Abakanowicz.
