This exhibition brings together a total of 25 artists from Taiwan, Mainland China and Hong Kong. With the works more or less deviating from the traditional ideas of photography shown in the exhibition, the exhibition aims to break away from the two dimensional restrictions traditionally associated with 'photographic art', and to offer a new artistic vision of photography.

Discussion of the exhibition by the two curators are featured in the accompanyign essays, together with contribution from Nanjo Fumio, who writes about his observations of Chinese contemporary art. Artist biographies are included. With preface by Hsieh Suchen, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei.
