This monograph presents Blood and Spit, a new volume of works from 2007-2009 by T.V. Santhosh, and also encompasses works from his past exhibitions 'Living with a Wound', 'A Room to Pray' and 'Countdown'. Conceptually based, Santhosh's paintings and installations often reference media coverage of contemporary events and depict chaos and paranoia. This publication consists of essays by Shaheen Merali, Brigitte Ulmer, Alexander Keefe and Santhosh S. who discuss and evaluate T.V. Santhosh's works, process and practice though a synthesis of different disciplines, contexts, perceptions and interpretations.
