This book details a number of recent photographic series by Kuwaiti born artist Tarek Al-Ghoussein. After living in the United Arab Emirates for a decade or so, and given his familial lineage as Palestinian exiles, these photographic images look at the problematic of identity in relation to the rapid urban development and transformation of the postcolonial world.
Includes biographies of the artist and contributors.
