This publication includes writings that accompany the exhibition 'Art in Private Spaces' held at the Contemporary Art Museum of the Philippines in 1988. 'This is an exhibition about scale. Small scale. The interest in smallness began with questions having to deal with foreign influences in our artmaking and how these are translated into the visual language of the Filipino artist.'
