Song-Ming Ang is a Singaporean artist who works in Berlin. He uses music as his starting point to produce artworks and performances. In 'Guilty Pleasures', his new work in 2007 and displayed at the Singapore Art Museum, the audience is invited to bring along an aural guilty pleasure of their choice, and then share it in an intimate setting complete with sofas and rugs. Song-Ming Ang then tries to develop the project in another form so that it can be circulated more easily. This book is therefore published, in which 100 contributions are made by different artists, curators, musicians, and writers, all revealing their aural guilty pleasures.
