This catalogue is published on the occasion of the solo exhibition by Ian Woo at Plastique Kinetic Worms. 'The initial idea of these painted drawings were sparked off by a vision of myself typing in the world error whilst constantly trying to erase it and retype the same word again and again. The word hope was added later to accompany the word error, so as to create within the two words a kind of infinite reaction, says Ian Woo. He uses tone and pattern as a base, and the text were drawn into combination with them to create an inner contemplative experience that hovers between the reality of subject matter and that of memory.

Colour plates and artist's biography are included.
