This publication accompanies a group exhibition organised by the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, held from December 2014 to March 2015, showcasing more than forty works of video art and media installations to tell a narrative of the development of new media art in Korea.

Starting from works made by pioneering new media artist Nam June Paik, the exhibition traces a history of how Korean artists have made use of new media art and new technology to project their imaginaries of future by various visual means. Organised in a chronological manner, the exhibit is divided into four sections, each detailing how technological advancement affects and interacts with the production of artworks.

Includes biographies of participating artists.

A booklet that comes along the catalogue contains text translated into Italian.
