Artist-cum-writer Yao Jui-chung surveys on the recent development of contemporary photography in Taiwan since 1999. In this book, photographic works of about 30 artists are examined and discussed under these themes: "Cultural Hybridity", "The Pedigree Recall", "Virtual Utopia", "A Show in Disguise", and "The Lost Paradise". A bibliography on the subject is enclosed.
