Featured in this publication are works from Hyungkoo Lee's solo show The Objectuals at Sungkok Art Museum in 2004. According to Lee Chungwoo in his essay, it was a distinctive exhibition that revealed a new way of arranging the order of things, in a way that moved away from a human-centered understanding. The exhibition showcased 10 helmets with convex lenses that transformed the human face by distorting the proportion of the facial features. In addition, Lee developed several other apparatuses that he wore and went about his daily life, experimenting how the apparatus would change his own perceptions and how he would adjust to the device.  The artist's biography is provided at the back of the book.
Author Lee Chungwoo is also known as Lim Geun-jun.
