Jiang Hin was born in Hangzhou in 1958 and continues to work and live there, although he has traveled regularly to Japan where he has been teaching since 1999. He earned his B.A. degree from the elite Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts and his master degree in calligraphy from the China Academy of Fine Arts where he has been an associate professor since 1998. He has exhibited internationaly, particularly in China, Japan and Hong Kong but also in Europe and the United States.
