The monograph accompanies the retrospective exhibition of Hong Kong artist Ricky Yeung, curated and researched by Anthony Po-shan Leung. It is the second programme of the exhibition series 'Hong Kong Artists of the 1980s' organised by Para/Site Artspace. 'Yeung was "well known" in the Hong Kong art scene during the 1980s for his radical artforms. Violent images of "sex" and "death" were the hallmarks of his early works that sought to explore the dark side of humanity and the human psyche.' —excerpt from the book
