This book resulted from the 15th Akiyoshidai International Art Village Residence Support Program which ran for 55 days from January 2014.  It includes colour plates of the artists' works, artists' statement, and biographical information. The activity schedule is also included.

Akiyoshidai International Art Village was first opened in 1998 and has organized annual artist residency programs. The 2014 program's theme was 'The Features of This Land' and was participated by 6 artists from the United States, Japan, Finland, Taiwan, South Korea, and the Philippines. Only the artists with Asian backgrounds are listed below.
