Catalogue of Tsai Ken's solo exhibition at Main Trend Gallery in 2006. Tsai chooses both conventional materials (wood, stone and metal) as well as parts of furnishings or garden ornaments for his sculptures. Li Jiyong suggested in his essay, that Tsai never tries to conceal the original texture of materials he uses. Often, the artist employs attributes of materials or structures of his works to reveal what he wants to express. The present catalogue includes artist biography and poems by Wang Yusong.
