Catalogue published to accompany Lai Ming Hoi Victor's solo exhibition at Gallery 7 in March 1994.
'Recent works, such as Man Standing in Front of the Mirror, show the artist's use of empty space as a breathing area and his fondess for reflections, a positive image balanced by its negative. Nowadays Lai paints mainly figures, with phases of painting landscapes, still life and flowers. He allows each composition to develop on its own, first putting just colour on the canvas, followed by black line.' - excerpted from the article by Hilary Binks
Includes images of paintings and artist's biography.
