Featured in this CD-Rom is the 'Videoprogramme 2003 - Single Screen Video Art from Asia' exhibited at Earl Lu Gallery.

22 of the most interesting and controversial Asian video artists are featured in Videoprogramme 2003, the first in an annual series of video art exhibitions at Earl Lu Gallery at LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts. Videoprogramme 2003 comprises 26 works by artists representing China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Exploring the aesthetics of digital manipulation and video as a medium, the works are expressions of day-to-day experiences, social concerns, and a study of spiritual or religious issues. The artists include Singapore’s Heman Chong and Tan Kai Syng; China’s Wang Jianwei; Indonesia’s Arahmaiani; and Thailand’s Michael Shaowanasai.

Screen shots of artists' works, artists' biography as well as a powerpoint presentation are included.
