It is the catalogue from the exhibition Vozes da Siberia by Shin MIYAZAKI in the XXVI Bienal Internacional de Sao Paulo, 2004 Japao from September 25 to December 19, 2004.

'The work of Shin Miyazaki is deliberately made to contain elements of destruction . It might be described as already being old when it was first produced......it does not declare itself to be indestructible. its effectiveness rests on its paradoxical nature, its ability to resonate with things that have that it carries inside itself. This capacity for resonance makes Miyazaki's work an endless source of memory, giving rise to numerous voices. The negative crossing of borders represented by the artist Siberian imprisonment becomes a springboard to new experience fro viewers, enabling them to cross other borders and fine the freedom attainable with art. The many voices are purified through Miyazaki's creativity, reverberating in a free territory.'

- Tsutomu Mizusawa
