Wang Tiande has been experimenting with the language of Chinese ink and wash painting, exploring the possibility of breaking through its traditional limitations, and integrating it with other forms of art. The results can be studied from the works illustrated here, including the Chinese fans series and the arrangement of objects pasted in their entirety with ink-splashed xuan paper. Biography of the artist is included.
