'WeAsians - Between Past & Future' was a Millennium Conference held in Singapore to examine Asia's collective consciousness and sense of identity, to analyse the historical legacies of the 20th century and to envision its prospects in the 21st century. The conference was co-organised by the National Archives of Singapore (NAS), the Singapore Heritage Society (SHS) and the Japan Foundation Asia Center (JFAC).

The present publication includes all the conference papers presented, as well as transcripts of the commentaries and floor discussions. Biographies of chairpersons, speakers and commentators included.
