'In this exhibition, six artists brought together from Australia, China, the Middle East, Europe and the United States consider, through their works, diverse ideas in relation to the theme of memory. Entitled Witness, the exhibition is purposefully modest in its physical scale and does not seek to make a definitive statement on what is clearly a vast subject. Individual identity, family, and broader events which have helped to shape the past century are addressed through these works; and all provide unique insight into the strategies and means through which artists seek to address the present.' - extracted from essay by Rachel Kent

Images of works are accompanied by individual texts. With artist biographies.
