This material is one of the two volumes published in conjunction with the exhibition entitled 'YAYOI KUSAMA: NEW YORK/TOKYO,' with a foreword by Yasuo Kamon. This volume was published in addition to the first volume, 'YAYOI KUSAMA: NEW YORK/TOKYO - LOVE FOREVER: YAYOI KUSAMA, 1958-1968,' upon presentation in Tokyo. Tokyo venue exhibited approximately 120 works executed in Japan, in addition to the works executed in the United States that travelled from the U.S. venues. Tokyo exhibition was the first to present the artist's entire career. The essay by Seki reviews and discusses about the artist's activities and critique of the past exhibitions in Japan, accompanied by notes. As a friend and supporter, Miura recalls the artist's life and creative activities in New York, in his interview with the artist. Following 114 plates are a selected exhibition history and thorough bibliography.
