Andrew Maerkle reviews the 2008 Yokohama Triennale and highlights some of the works featured. Director Tsutomu Mizusawa and his curatorial team has organised a show of work by prominent international artists, including those of Japanese origin, under the unifying theme "Time Crevasse". Issues raised by the 2008 Triennale include the need for reconsidering constituencies of "mega-exhibitions" and making works shown relevant to local viewers.
