Published in conjunction with Yu Hong's solo exhibition held at Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing from July to September 2010, this catalogue features the new series of paintings Golden Sky displayed on the ceiling. Combining classical and religious composition with scenes from modern and secular life, the four paintings, Atrium (2009), Questions for Heaven (2009-10), Natural Selection (2010), and Sky Curtain (2010), illustrate the artist's perspective of modern China with reference to classical Western works and the Buddhist cave paintings of Dunhuang and Kizil. The book also documents Yu Hong's previous two works of 'In and Out of Time' exhibition held at the Guangdong Museum of Art in May of 2009.

This book gathers images of overview and close-up of works, with artist's notes on each painting. Includes an interview with Yu Hong and essays by Yan Zhang and Guo Xiaoyan, and artist's biography.
