During the summer months, Hong Kong’s art scene is usually relatively quiet. But this July, even through pervasive heat and humidity, many activities are happening in various corners in the city. This photologue provides snapshots of a few local art events, including: ‘Relocation’, an exhibition showcasing interactive installations by local and international artists; ‘ “6,000” Conceptual Art Proposal Exhibition’, which presents responses to the government’s budget plan of handing out $6000 to all adult residents of Hong Kong; 'What's Next 30x30 Creative Exhibition: Hong Kong Part II', a collaborative exhibition marking the thirtieth year in the creative career of anothermountainman; 'Invention & Intervention', a new media festival taking place at a local shopping mall; and 'Wooferten Artivist in Residency Program (II): Kim Kang + Kim Youn Hoan' which allows the Korean artist collective to squat in Hong Kong, 'Blocks' featuring photographs by Danny Shum, and 'China Flows: Chinese in Cuba' showing photographs by Lau Pok Chi.
