AAA is pleased to present a four-part talk series focusing on contemporary art in South Asia, sponsored by Christie’s and Bloomberg. An introduction to contemporary art practice in the region will be presented from four different perspectives: that of a collector, an academic, a curator and an artist.

The third in the series, Atul Dodiya will introduce his prolific body of work, talk about what inspires and shapes his work and comment on the contemporary art scene in India today.



About the speaker
Atul Dodiya, 
based in Mumbai, is one of the most prolific and accomplished artists working in India today. Since graduating from Mumbai’s JJ School of Art in 1982, Dodiya has worked in a wide range of medium to include installation, photography and painting, which have been shown in gallery and major museum shows around the world.
