This year, AAA welcomes Geeta Kapur as the AAA Burger Collection Keynote speaker. Kapur is a Delhi-based critic and curator. Her books include When Was Modernism: Essays on Contemporary Cultural Practice in India (2000) and Ends and Means: critical inscriptions in contemporary art (forthcoming, 2013). She was co-curator of ‘Century City’, Tate Modern (2001); a member of the International Juries at Venice Biennale (2005), Dakar Biennale (2006), Sharjah Biennial (2007); and a member of the Asian Art Council, Guggenheim Museum (2007-09). She currently sits on Asia Art Archive's Advisory Board. She has held fellowships at Indian and international universities and lectured worldwide.
