10,000 Dream Museum cards were distributed to the community to offer a platform for the public to consider and describe their ideal museum. To share these responses with the public, AAA is pleased to present An Exhibition: Our Community’s Responses, displaying a selection of the responses received from the What is your Dream Museum? community project.

As an expression of AAA’s mission to encourage dialogue for contemporary art related issues, Asia Art Archive set-up a booth at ART HK from 14 –18 May 2008 providing a platform for interactive engagement with the ongoing education project entitled ‘What is your Dream Museum’.  Artist workshops were conducted throughout the four days in order to facilitate and encourage discussion on the subject. Several thousand Dream Museum cards were also distributed to schools, arts institutions and the wider public, inviting individuals to submit their responses by either sending back the card or by filling out the e-dream museum card on the website.

From 11 to 21 June, selected responses will be exhibited at the Hollywood Centre, in Sheung Wan, for public viewing. To conclude the project, selected responses will be published on the Dream Museum website in July.
