AAA Director and former Deputy Director of the Guggenheim Museum, Jane DeBevoise gives an informal talk at the AAA on Tuesday 27 May, 2003 at 6.45pm. Due to popular demand, Jane DeBevoise repeats her talk on Monday, 2 June 2003.

Jane DeBevoise has lived in Hong Kong since the fall of 2002 and is a freelance consultant and art advisor. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, DeBevoise was Deputy Director of the Guggenheim Museum, responsible for museum operations and exhibitions globally. She joined the Museum in 1996 as the Project Director of 'China: 5000 Years', a blockbuster exhibition of traditional and modern Chinese art that was presented at both the Guggenheim Museum New York and Bilbao. Prior to 1996, DeBevoise was Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company where she had worked for 14 years in New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. Ms. DeBevoise has a BA degree in History and Art History from Tufts University and a MA degree in Chinese Art History from the University of California, Berkeley.
