This is the catalogue for Pan Shou's solo exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum. Pan was born in China in 1911 and moved to Singapore when he was nineteen. Well-schooled in Chinese classics and the brush, Pan has been a leading figure in Chinese calligraphy and literature in Singapore. His talents in these two fields are studied in the accompanying essays. A brief introduction of Pan Shou is also provided.
