This catalogue was produced on occasion of Japanese artist Hitoshi Nomura's solo exhibition entitled 'Hitoshi Nomura: Marking Time' at McCaffrey Fine Art, New York from September to October 2010. Presented here are select early works of the artist from 1968-1993. Features an interview with Fergus McCaffrey where Nomura explains his personal achievements and motivations behind his early projects such as Tardiology, Dryice, and Iodine. Also includes two other essays which discuss Nomura's oeuvre in relation to art events and movements taking place in America and Europe in the 60s and 70s. List of works and artist chronology are included.
