This publication intends to provide resources for understanding the history of Hong Kong Art during the 1990s. It is concerned more with giving information than with approaching its subject at an analytical level, since the basic facts of recent Hong Kong art history have not yet been made widely accessible. 27 artists are interviewed and featured in this publication, and commentaries on Hong Kong art of the period are juxtaposed with a chronology of the art events (1990-1999).
