With You, I Will Never Feel Lonely showcases Chen Ke's journey from a little girl who loved to paint to one of the representative contemporary female painters of this generation, all explored through the intriguing and priceless memories of Chen. Chen Ke’s autobiography, published in tandem with an exhibition at Toady Art Museum, Beijing, offers viewers a further opportunity to observe the development of this member of the new generation of contemporary artists. Through her own words and images, viewers can piece together the jigsaw puzzle that is Chen Ke’s maturation and growth as an artist.

《和你在一起,永遠不孤單》是七零後年輕女藝術家陳可的自傳，以圖文結合的繪本形式，回溯了她從一個喜愛塗鴉的小孩成長為一個藝術家的歷程。 《和你在一起,永遠不孤單》的文字和圖畫都由藝術家親自完成，樸實無華的語言和清新雋永的圖畫，透露出陳可作為藝術家的敏感和細膩。同時，個體的視角映射出中國社會從七十年代末到最近的短短幾十年所發生的巨變。七五後出生的人，正趕上獨生子女政策，教育背景中中西文化的交融碰撞，商品經濟下社會物質的豐富，新的職業模式下，個人擁有更多的自我價值實現的機會，同時也面臨更為激烈的競爭，這些都導致​​了這一代年輕人與父輩迥然不同的生活經歷和內心世界。陳可的經歷也是這一代年輕人的典型個案，從中還可一窺“藝術家是怎樣煉成的”。
