This is the catalogue of Wang Keping’s solo exhibition at the University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong) in 1997, which was part of the artist-in-residence programme. The accompanying essays, written by academics and artists, provide an introduction to Wang Keping’s wood sculptures - his fascination with the material and the techniques he made use of which help bring the pieces to life. The present catalogue also includes an interview with Wang Keping and his biography.

本圖錄所示的是王克平於1997年在香港科技大學舉辦個展的作品，是次活動是香港科技大學駐校藝術家計劃的環節之一。書中文章均由著名學者和藝術家執筆，文中分析了王克平的木雕藝術，諸如他對媒材的執着，並闡釋了為何他的作品均顯得栩栩如生、生趣盎然。本圖錄亦載有王克平的訪談錄及其簡歷。
