Manuscript titled 'Theory, Text, Context' which artist K.G. Subramanyan delivered at the 'Abanindranath Memorial Lecture' at the Government College of Arts and Crafts in Calcutta under the auspices of the Regional Lalit Kala Centre in Calcutta.
The text was subsequently published in Vol.16 of Nandan under the same title by Department of Art History, Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, in 1996. The text was also included in K.G. Subramanyan's The Magic of Making: Essays on Art and Culture, published by Seagull Books, Calcutta, in 2007.
