This catalogue was published in conjunction with the annual exhibition of the Artist Friendship Association of Asia, re-formed in 1973 from its predecessor Japan-China Artist Friendship Association founded in 1964, originally aiming to facilitate cultural exchange between Japan and Taiwan, Republic of China.
This time they invited voluntary participants from Indonesia as well as artists from three different art groups and associations from Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
