In the Southern part of an island of Naoshima, Benesse Art Site is established by Tadao Ando, a Japanese architect. On the Art Site, exhibits displayed include artworks from Kusama, Niki de Saint Phalle, Walter de Maria and James Turrell. At the same time, The Art House Project transforms vacant houses into artworks, invoking the dilemma of memory and time.
