The present exhibition is the second in the series 'A Perspective on Contemporary Art' which started in 1984 with 'Metaphor and/or Symbol'. Twelve artists from Britain, France, Italy, West Germany, and the United States as well as nine Japanese artists were chosen at the time as the representatives of the artists of the younger generation who were at the very frontier of contemporary art. Images of works are accompanied by artist biographies. Please note that only Asian artists are listed below.
