'The exhibition aimed for the understandings of Korean contemporary art in its root and characteristics, and also to establish another lineage of Korean contemporary art. Clear effects of western culture in the work of Korean contemporary art from 1960-70 should not be comprehended by the western modernism, but must be approached with multiple views.
