It is a survey of art history of the Philippines spanning from the Spanish conquest to the present, written by artist/art historian Dominador Castaneda. It is divided into three chronological parts (Spanish, American, and modern eras) and in each section three art forms are discussed, namely architecture, painting and sculpture made by Filipino artists.
