Hong Kong and Singapore has been vying to become Asia's regional arts hub, for they both strive to be the top city in the region. The discussion centered in their potentials and limits in arts and cultural development. As the third largest auction market of fine art, Hong Kong has attracted artists, curators, critics and collectors from all over the world. On the other hand, Singapore has diligently launched a wide variety of art projects and constructions. To the two rivals, more need to be done lest one will lose out to one another.
