First organised in 2002, the annual Asahi Art Festival organises various community-led art projects in collaboration with art-related NPOs in communities across Japan with the support of Asahi Breweries Ltd. This book documents the Asahi Art Festival in 2004 and discusses this unique attempt to organise a network of local art projects. With a list of projects from Asahi Art Festival 2002 - 2004.
