Being one of the art exhibitions under the programme of the 12th Asian Games held in Hiroshima back to 1994, Creativity in Asian Art Now displays works by various Asian artists. Artworks ranging from contemporary Asian folk art, painting and sculpture, to the focus of this exhibition - installations and performances by six Asian artists, are presented at the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, among other locations in Hiroshima City.

This catalogue showcases works that are chosen for the exhibition. Artists' biographies, essays on Asian folk art and reviews of the exhibition can also be found in the catalogue.
