In the work presented in this catalogue, Wang Huaxiang expresses how he sees and what he feels about the contemporary world. There are no more scenes from reality, no identifiable figures and no sense of time and place that a realistic work requires. Instead, he introduces absurdity and humour to scenes of daily life in which reality and history are overlapped.
