'From 1991 to 1996 Min's "Weed" series was composed of photographs taken early in the morning while walking around a farm on the outskits of Seoul, South Korea. However, for Min the subject matter is not merely weeds, rather it is the essence of nature. With a sensitive artist's eye, Min is able to transform a seemingly simple subject such as weeds growing through cracks in a greenhouse wall into compostiions of grace and elegance, and in the process reveal the beauty of nature.' Artist biography is provided in the present monograph.
