Since its establishment in 1997, Center for Contemporary Art, CCA Kitakyushu has invited 38 internationally recognized artists to take up residence at CCA for a period of one month. During his/her stay, each artist was asked to conceive a new project for the gallery. Featured in this publication are the 38 projects, with images of works and brief artist biographies. Also included is a list of artist books published to accompany the projects. Please note that documentation of talks given the particpating artists is provided in a separate publication.
