The first major survey of contemporary Pakistan art in the United States 'Hanging Fire' is presented by the Asia Society Museum. The show reveals that Pakistan's art is flourishing in spite of the country’s poverty and turmoil, and work is being made with reference to difficult issues like religion, political oppression and the status of Muslim women.
