Cream 3 continues a new biennial contemporary art event. This exhibition-in-a-book introduces 100 new artists selected by a team of ten international curators (Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Charles Esche, Ruben Gallo, Yuko Hasegawa, Udo Kittelmann, Adriano Pedrosa, Beatrix Ruf, Nancy Spector, Hamza Walker, Igor Zabel). Each have chosen ten artists who they consider to best exemplify what is happening in the contemporary art world today, and also those who will be the stars of the future. This virtual exhibition of new art is preceded by a virtual conversation an internet discussion among the 10 curators. 'Is there life after Conceptual art?' This is a question asked in one of the texts in Cream 3, and might serve as a theme running through much of the art presented in the book.

Each artist's work is represented in two double-page spreads, accompanied by a short biography and bibliography and a text by the curator who selected them.
