Evelyna Liang Kan Yee-Woo, well-known for her community arts projects, was part of a CARE (Community Art Revisited and Encountered) exhibition at Lingnan University in April 2008. Her work with thousands of Vietnamese boatpeople at the Whitehead Detention Centre in the 1990s was on display.
