Thai photographer Manit Sriwanichpoom took photo portraits of 60 people for his latest show, Ordinary/Extraoridinary.  The sixty faces he chose are all of people who live near Manit's studio on soi Onnuj, Bangkok.  Their faces tell the story of his neighborhood--hardship, migration and diversity.  Though Manit has worked previously as a photojournalist, his various photography projects can  be characterized as satirical, protest, documentary or conceptual.  His show at Tang Contemporary Art, Silom Galleria, Bangkok ends February 20, 2007.
