This publication is produced on the occasion of Haegue Yang's theatrical adaptation of Marguerite Duras' novella The Malady of Death (La Maladie de la Mort, 1982) at the Staatstheater Kassel on 7 June 2012 as part of dOCUMENTA (13). Presented alongside her new installation at the exhibition 'Approaching: Choreography Engineered in Never-Past Tense' at the Hauptbahnhof, The Malady of Death is staged as a reading by French actress and singer Jeanne Balibar.
